Gainsborough Trinity Foundation looks to engage and inspire young people to build a better life for themselves and unite the communities in which they live. Dedicated staff deliver physical education, football coaching, multi-sport coaching, educational programs and personal development, providing young people with opportunities to change their lives for the better. We look to support those in need by reason of youth, age, ill health, gender, economic status, disability or other disadvantage in Lincolnshire.
Gainsborough Trinity Foundation has engaged with hundreds of local Gainsborough people and have worked closely with children in local primary schools to provide them with some incredible opportunities that they wouldn’t get anywhere else!
Some of our projects have included walking football for the over 45s, wildcats football sessions to engage girls into football, and introducing a BTEC programme for young prospecting footballers in the area. We also run the Trinity Youth System for young players 6-16 years of age.
Charity work has always been an intrinsic element of life at Gainsborough Trinity. The Foundation assists the club's charity partners to raise vital funds by facilitating events throughout the year as well as providing awareness of their work. The Foundation also fulfils requests from charities, schools and grass roots sporting clubs for signed items from the club.
